Germicidal lamps emit a large amount of ultraviolet rays 185nm which have excellant germicidal effect.These lamps have structures and electrical characteristics similar to those of fluorescent lamps used for illumination but use ultraviolet ray glass which efficiently transmit ultraviolet rays at 185nm.
